Look. Will You Sing Again?
When you’re hurt, when you bleed…
Face a loss, feel a need…
Look to Jesus, on His love depend.
He can feel what you feel…
He can help, He can heal…
Look to Jesus, He’s your dearest friend.
In all points tested here was He, the same as we…
He felt the sting of tears, He felt temptations too…
Yes, He knows, understands, all of life’s harsh demands…
Look to Jesus, for He cares for you.
When you’re weak, when you’re frail…
When you fall, when you fail…
Look to Jesus, He can make you strong.
When alone and afraid…
Pushed aside and betrayed…
Look to Jesus, He will right the wrong.
He knew the anguish of the cross, He suffered loss…
He felt the hammer blows of cruel and wicked men…
He’ll depend, He’ll provide…
See you through, be your guide…
Look to Jesus, look to Jesus, and you’ll sing again.
When life hits us hard, it’s easy to get our focus off to the Lord. No matter how small or big the trials and challenges coming our way, setting our eyes to Jesus can vanish all the fears away. As written in my favorite wallpaper, “Don’t tell God how big your storm is, but tell your storm how big your God is.”
It has been a hectic week, yet I am excited to sing this “Look to Jesus” song at our choir this Sunday. Isn’t it wonderful that out of the heavy workload, household chores, and busy schedules, we can rest any time in the presence of our Lord?
Have a blessed week my friends! Thank you for being a blessing to me – to God be the glory!

Thank you for meeting me here! I purposely created this blog to share the joy I have found in Jesus Christ and in living for Him everyday. Life may not give you enough reasons to smile but God does. You can find more of that

Hi there my friend, thanks to God
thanks for keeping in touch on Facebook
Joyce!! what a beautiful song! I wish I could be there to here it! Oh my God has been so busy working and directing and answering prayers this week! hallelujah Really too many to go into for a comment. But at the top of my list was my brother in law–he agreed to go to Moffett Cancer Center here in Tampa for a 2nd opinion before he started chemo. He saw today the doctor whose only specialty is the leukemia that my brother has! And not only is he a doctor but also very involved in their research-so my brother can get into a clinical trial and see how that works for him-because they want to delay the chemo as long as they can-and what the medicine is that is in this trial could do that for him. And the medicine instead of being $100,000.00 is free. Of course the care is not-but they do have insurance and someone in Orlando has just contacted them and said we want to help you.
So you can see why my cup is overflowing tonight! All this morning I was at sharing day for BSF-my bible study-hearing about how our God has been answering so many other prayers and doing real life miracles just like He did for me.
I am so grateful I get to be even a little part of all of that. and by the way, i told my brother, he should blog a little every day about how he feels what is happening, anything and everything-He doesn’t have to publish unless he wants to, but this might be a good way to see in 3 months and more how he is doing-has he gotten into remission? whatever? I am so praying that once he starts writing, he will open up and then God can come in and do that wonderful work on his heart that is so hurt! please pray for him. his name is Fred.
